Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply to purchases from CW Watches, an independent luxury watch dealer based in Canterbury, Kent (Unit 6F, Lakes View Business Park, Hersden, Canterbury CT3 4JZ). By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Our watches

Every timepiece we sell is genuine, inspected and authenticated by our specialists before listing. Watches are pre-owned unless stated otherwise, and each listing describes the individual watch photographed — what you see is the watch you receive. CW Watches is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with, or an authorised dealer of, Rolex, Tudor, TAG Heuer or any other brand; all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Secure ordering & payment

We prioritise the security of your transactions. Payments are processed over an encrypted connection by Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and PayPal — we never see or store your full card details. All prices are in pounds sterling. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we cannot verify.

Identity verification

For orders sent by delivery we require a photo of the buyer’s passport or driving licence at checkout. This protects both parties on high-value items and is a condition of our insured delivery. If you’d rather not upload ID, choose collection and bring it with you instead. See our Privacy Policy for how ID documents are handled and deleted.

Delivery & collection

Delivery is by fully insured, tracked courier and requires a signature. Alternatively, collect for free from our Canterbury unit by appointment. Risk in the watch passes to you on delivery or collection.

Returns & refunds

We take pride in the authenticity and quality of our timepieces, and every watch is checked, photographed and described honestly so you can buy with confidence. Please choose carefully — we do not accept change-of-mind returns.

If your watch arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photo or video evidence of the damage and the packaging, and our team will put it right with a repair, replacement or refund.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: every watch must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and if it is not, your legal remedies apply. Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a cancellation right on a distance sale, that right is unaffected.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control (for example courier delays), though we will always help resolve them.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
